GameSpot's TenSpot

The Ten Best Readers Endings
TenSpot
By GameSpot Staff
Designed by James Cheung

For this edition of Readers' Choice TenSpot, we asked you to pick your favorite computer-game endings of all time. There weren't too many surprises this time around, but one entry was a bit shocking - you'll have to wait until our next TenSpot to find out which entry and why it surprised us.

Other than the one surprising choice, what did we learn from your votes and comments? First, that our readers are susceptible to bouts of crying at the end of computer games. Moreover, they'll always claim it was the first time a game made them weep. Don't be so defensive. As Rosey Grier crooned to us on Free to Be You and Me: It's all right to cry.

What else did we learn? Well, it wasn't a new lesson, but those Final Fantasy VII fans just can't be held back. But even that wasn't a surprising choice - Final Fantasy VII and eight of your other choices were all nominees for our own list.

Now, here are our readers' choices for the ten best computer-game endings of all time.
